State Police Investigating Car Crash That Left Two With Major Injuries

Ridgeway based state police are investigating a Wednesday crash that left two men with major injuries. It happened on U.S. Route 219 near Howard Road,  when state police say a car driven by Frank Quattrone,18, of Ridgway, was traveling south on Route 219 when he crossed into the northbound lane and hit a pick-up truck driven by Mark Snelick, 46, of Brockway. Police said neither were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident, and that the cause of the crash was determined to be careless driving on the part of Quattrone.
