Drug arrest after traffic stop in Potter County

In Potter County...a traffic stop on state route 607 in Keating Township resulted in a drug arrest. Troopers charged 35-year old Coreen Kennedy of Washington, PA  after they say they found a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. The case has been referred to District Court.

Fair warning from PA State Police

Consider this fair warning from State Troopers based in Coudersport. In a press release issued this morning, troopers are alerting drivers that …”at some point during the first week of February…” troopers will conducting Sobriety Checkpoints in Potter County. Don’t say you were warned.

Corruption of Minors in Potter County

Pennsylvania troopers are looking for leads in a case they’ve described as Corruption of Minors. Police say two 14-year old girls from Ulysses were taken to a house party on Loucks Mills Road in Hector Township  where they were allegedly provided alcohol, marijuana and prescription pills. Troopers continue to investigate.

Pennsylvania state police arrests

State police arrested 43-year old Earl Tubbs of Loucks Mills Road in Ulysses. Coudersport-based troopers said Tubbs was charged with Harassment after he allegedly grabbed a 48-year old woman by the neck during an argument.


Meanwhile, troopers from the Kane station arrested 36-year old James Kilpatrick of Cyclone. He was charged with DUI after police stopped him on Route 59 in Lafayette Township.

Coudersport man charged in $363,372 fraud

Pennsylvania state police have charged 38-year old Jim Ronald MILLS of Coudersport with 14 counts stemming from a theft and fraud.

DUI Checkpoint

Pennsylvania state police conducted a DUI sobriety check point during a four hour period ending Saturday morning. The check point was established on route 6 in Roulette, one mile east of the McKean county line. Two people were charged with drunken driving, seven summary traffic violations were charged and fifteen warning were issued. Troopers from Coudersport, Emporium and Mansfield assisted.
