A 16-year-old Wellsville teen has been arrested on charges of
attempted murder, among others, for the shooting of his stepfather
earlier this week. New York State Police say the boy shot 60-year-old Robert Garrison twice in the chest on Tuesday. He was arraigned yesterday and is the Allegany County Jail in leiu of bail. The shooting took place at Garrison's home on County Road 30, in the town of Wellsville.
