A weekend fire in Lafayette Township heavily damaged a home and destroyed its attached garage. The owner, Harold Beck, was home at the time. He complained of chest pain and was treated at the hospital. Investigators have not determined a cause, but they are focusing their attention in the garage area. The fire re-ignited last night, prompting another response from firefighters.
