PA Senator Wants Universities to Clearly Outline What They Use Their State Funding For

Pennsylvania Senator Mike Stack has a question for universities in PA, what are they really using their state funding for? Stack wants full disclosure on how the University of Pittsburgh, Penn State, Temple University, and Lincoln University are spending their funding from the state. Stack has offered amendments to four budget bills that would make it mandatory for these schools to clearly outline where their funding is going. The four bills are currently waiting for Governor Tom Corbett’s signature. If passed, the universities would have to keep their state allocations in a separate account from other funds.
