A fatal aircraft crash occurred yesterday
evening at around 5:30 on private property in Smethport, PA. Michael R. Duffy,
48, was killed after attempting to fly an ultra-light aircraft when it crashed.
Smethport Volunteer Fire Department and McKean County Coroner’s Office were at
the scene. Duffy died instantly.
