Pennsylvania State Senate Passes Legislation Addressing Public Assistance Fraud

In Harrisburg, The Pennsylvania Senate has passed legislation that addresses the possible misuse of public assistance benefits. The bill calls for studying placing photo ID on EBT cards, what used to be know as Food Stamps. State Senator Pat Vance is sponsoring the proposal. Auditor General Jack Wagner says there is a huge potential for fraud with the current EBT card.
