Man pleads not guilty to attempted robbery in Olean

An Olean man indicted by a Cattaraugus County Grand Jury has pleaded not guilty.  23-year old Thomas Washington faces an indictment charging two counts of Attempted Robbery and Assault. It all stems from an alleged attack outside the Olean Center mall February 10^th. Prosecutors say Washington and another man tried to forcibly steal property from a Bradford man. The victim was injured in the attack. The case has been adjourned 45 days so attorney’s can file motions.
