A fallen tree blocking a Cattaraugus County roadway caused
an accident Tuesday that injured two people. Sheriff’s deputies said 59-year
old Robert Brachmann of Little Valley was driving route 219 in Great Valley when a snow-laden tree fell.
Police said he swerved and struck an oncoming vehicle operated by 37-year old
Tanya Norton of Great Valley. Both drivers were treated at Olean General
hospital Deputies cited Brachmann for unsafe lane change.
