Allegany County health board stays busy

The Allegany County Board of Health is being kept busy. The state has issued an order to Allegany and other counties to inspect businesses to see if synthetic marijuana is being offered for sale. According to health officials, this would include conducting at gas stations, convenience stores, and other similar retail outlets that have been identified across New York State as places where synthetic marijuana products have been found being sold.
In addition, the county is actively looking for a new building to purchase to house the WIC program and the Cancer Services program preferably in the Wellsville area.
