A Bradford man is due in court for arraignment today on arson charges. 54-year old Edward Pannighetti is accused by state police of trying to hire a man to torch buildings and other property in and around Bradford. Investigators say the man wanted to collect insurance money. The alleged crimes date back several years. He’s charged with multiple felonies. Pannighetti is being held on $100,000 bail.
A McKean County sex offender will serve up to five decades in prison for having sex with a 14-year old girl. Twenty-four year old Cody Good was East Smethport was convicted of Aggravated Indecent Assault and sentenced to 25-50 years in state prison.
Still more fallout from a large-scale brawl a while back at the Mount Jewett fire hall…54-year old James Arthurs of Mount Jewett entered a no contest plea to a charge of disorderly conduct. He was sentenced to six months of probation.
A Bradford man who sexually assaulted a 13-year old girl at his home is headed to state prison. A judge has sentenced 22-year old Corey Parkhurst to 6-12 years in state prison. He’ll also be required to register for life as a sex offender.
