Prosecutors in Potter County say beginning today and for the next several weeks, they’ll be prepping for three potential murder trials. Three people face murder charges in the shooting death of 18-year old Samuel Miller of Eldred. The immediate focus is on 16-year old murder suspect Kaylynn Benson. Prosecutors want her tried in adult court…the defense wants the case bound to juvenile court. A hearing to answer that question has been shoved until March. Prosecutors are bringing in experts to strengthen their case. They’ll present their findings March 9th. Meanwhile, the two other defendant’s will face trails beginning in late Spring.
