Oswayo Valley school searches for new Superintendent

The Oswayo Valley School District hopes its new Superintendent can multi-task. The search continues today for a replacement for Charles Wicker who says he’ll retire in June after ten years at the helm.  But with finances tight for the rural district, school officials are hoping the next Superintendent can also serve as the elementary principal. As for Wicker, he says whoever replaces him needs to WANT to work in a rural district…he said they need to make a commitment… Administrators say they hope to have a new Superintendent hired by late Spring.
