Free Admission To Tuesday’s Women’s Basketball Game

January 2, 2012 ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – Tuesday afternoon's game between the St. Bonaventure women's basketball team and Sacred Heart will be free to attend. The game begins at 2 p.m. between the 12-2 Bonnies and 9-3 Pioneers. With local schools returning to session on Tuesday, and the holiday break for many workers ending on Monday, the decision was made by Athletic Department officials to make the matinee game free to the public. The contest is a rematch of last year's meeting, won by Bonaventure, 62-54, in Connecticut. St. Bonaventure has Received Votes in each of the last two Associated Press national polls, and are winners of eight of its last nine games.
