Polls
closed at 9:00 last night for the NY state primary, with voters
deciding the November ballot lineup for many state legislative races.
Turnout was, as expected, low for balloting with experts saying that
makes the outcome in many races unpredictable.
Among some of the local results....in the city of Salamanca for Alderman
Ward 4, Sandra Magiera got past Michael smith...
For Salamanca mayor, Carmen Vecc-hiar-ella got past Edward Dry
For Olean Alderman Ward 5, James Finch defeated Jonathon Teachman.
In the town of Allegany for Highway superintendent, John Moshier came out on top over Donald Yehl and Daniel French.
