Emporium Man Files Appeal for Double Murder Convicton

An Emporium man has filed an appeal for his double murder conviction. 46 year old Steven Rebert was convicted back in January in the homidices of Wayne and Victoria Shugar in their Snyder townhsip home in april of 2010. In the appeal filed yesterday, Rebert says Jefferson County Judge John Foradora should have recused himself. The Judge in turn also filed an opinion supporting the four consecutive life sentences Rebert was given.
