Fire in Salamanca Still Under Investigation

Salamanca fire investigators are still trying to determine was caused a blaze early Wednesday morning on Newton Street. A famliy pet died in the blaze and there were reports of two minor injuries while crews fought the fire. The call came into 4026 Newton Street just before 9am and they arrived the front of the house was already engulfed in flames. The house was a total loss.
