Fire in Johnsonburg Ruled Arson

A fire in Johnsonburg early Saturday morning was determined to be arson. The blaze broke out at the abandoned home in the 200 block of main Street just before 2am. Crews found flames shooting from the basement windows when they arrived. They made quick work of the blaze and damage was described as minimal. Investigaors are trying to determine if four fires that have been ruled arson in Johnsonburg since the end of June may be related.this summer there were also arson fires reported in St. Mary's and Ridgeway as well.  anyone with information is asked to contact Johnsonburg boro police.
