Dog Found Hanging From a Bridge in Hinsdale
The Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office is asking for the publics' help as they investigate a case of possible animal cruelty. Sheriff's Deputies responded to a call in Hinsdale at the bridge on the Underwood Road, to find a dog hanging from under the bridge. Law enforcement officials say the animal, a male, may be a terrier mix and was wearing a camouflage collar. anyone with information is asked to contact them.

John Bird is responsible for this heinous act. The dog lived at his house. This small puppy had an accident on the floor before John Bird stormed out of the house in a rage with the dog. The Cattaraugus County Sherriff's Office was notified promptly and statements were taken soon after, yet nothing has been done with the information. John Bird lives on S. 13th Street in Olean.
