Senator Leach Announced Plans to Repeal PA Voter ID Bill

State Senator Daylin Leach (D-Montgomery/Delaware) today announced plans to introduce a bill that would repeal the Voter ID bill recently signed into law by Governor Corbett. The bill would also double the current penalties for committing voter impersonation. In his argument for repeal, Leach cited new information that has come to light about the motivations behind the bill and its impact on Pennsylvanians since its passage.
