Olean Restaurant Getting Makeover From the Food Network

The Oleander will have its TV debut, and Olean residents should keep their eyes open for the Food Network celebrity that’s making it all happen. Restaurant Impossible is a TV show that helps locally owned businesses that are on the verge of failure. Host Robert Irvine and his crew assess the restaurants weakest areas and attempt to fix them in only two days with $10,000. They retrain staff and update the menu while a design team remodels the interior and exterior. Irvine then walks around the community and promotes the improved restaurant. WVTT tried to get an interview with the owner of the Oleander but he was unable to make a statement due to a confidentiality agreement with Food Network. The Food Network will be working on the Oleander today and tomorrow.
