Nasty Drugs Hitting Bradford

Some nasty drugs are in Bradford and police want to get the word out. In two cases, one back in February, with synthetic marijuana, and eariler this month with Fentanyl, a powerful painkiller. According to police, Febuary 3, at 209 Jackson Ave., the home of Lisa Kay Buterbaugh and Richard Charles Buterbaugh. The seized items were sent to the Erie State Police Lab for testing, and returned earlier this month. Charges were filed against both Buterbaughs. Since this incident in February, police say they have been finding more of this. Earlier this month police investigated a drug complaint at 233 Jackson Ave., Steven D. Woodruff. It appeared that a makeshift smoking device was used to smoke Fentanyl. Woodruff has been charged. "This is a highly potent drug that can be 100 times stronger that morphine," police said.
