Fire Department Busy With Downed Power Lines in Hamilton Township Yesterday
In the midst of the storms yesterday fire crews were busy. They reposnded to a reported fire at a home in Hamilton Township around 5:30 p.m. When crews arrived in the 16 hundred block of Wetmore Road, they found a tree fell on powerlines pulling them down from the house. There was no fire, but a strong electrical odor. The Kane Fire Department used a thermal imaging camera looking for hot spots but didn't find any. An electrician will inspect the home before power is restored. There were no injuries.
