Bradford Man Behind Bars After Allegedly Assaulting Elderly Man

A Bradford man is behind bars in the McKean County Jail for allegeldy assaulting several people and damaging property at the Hotel Holley early Thursday morning. Jeffery Morton is charged with criminal attempt at aggravated assault and aggravated assault, each are felony charges, and four misdemeanor counts of simple assault among others. Police say Morton allegedly pushed an elderly handicapped man to the ground, punched another man in face multiple times, and punched other man in the head and face as well as throwing a bar stool at a bartender and destroying a cash register.
