Library Audit Shows Discrepancies, Two Woman Face Charges

An internal audit of Oswayo Valley Memorial Library’s finances revealed more than eight thousand dollar’s worth of discrepancies between the Library’s purchases and inventory. PSP Coudersport Criminal Investigation Unit investigated further and found that Tammy Ray, the past director of the Library, had purchased items including electronics, clothing and sports memorabilia with Library funds without reimbursement. It was also discovered that Rebeccah Dickerson, past Board of Director member, had received personal items paid for with the libraries money. Both women faces several charges including Receiving Stolen Property and Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition of Funds.
