ECMC Shooting Suspect Had Previous Relationship with Victim

The hunt for Dr. Timothy Jorden Jr. continues after he allegedly shot and killed his ex-girlfriend, 33-year-old, single mother Jackie Wisniewski, yesterday morning on hospital grounds where they both worked. A SWAT team surrounded his half-a-million dollar home for nine hours last night while police conducted their search. According to the Buffalo News, Wisniewski confided in some friends telling them that Jorden had abused her and had been stalking her since she broke up with him because she believed he was cheating on her. Police believe Jorden lured Wisniewski into a lower stairway of the David K. Miller Building and then shot her four times in the head and upper body at point blank range with a high-powered handgun. Colleagues and neighbors said Jorden's been acting "withdrawn" and has lost about 75 pounds in the last few months. Police consider him armed and dangerous. WVTT will have more on this story as new information arises.
