East State Street Construction Expected to Start Next Week

Construction on the East State Street project will be starting shortly. A pre-construction meeting will be held this Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. According to Alderman McLaughlin shovels should be in the ground by next week. Once construction does start commuters should make sure they leave early enough to give themselves enough time to get through the detour.
