Senator Kirsten Gillibrand is spearheading legislation that
would help young military veterans with employment. Gillibrand announced over
the weekend that this bipartisan legislation
is needed to help provide education and job training for young veterans, and
streamline the certification processes for civilian jobs. Last year
Gillibrand helped pass the VOW To Hire Heroes Act, ensuring that all troops
returning from Iraq and Afghanistan have the necessary tools for a seamless
transition from military service to the civilian workforce.
