Coach Mark Schmidt will be a household name for the St.
Bonaventure Men's basketball team for the next five years. The Bonnies are coming
off an exciting season winning the Atlantic 10 conference and making an appearance
in the March Madness tournament. Coach Schmidt says he’s very proud of his
team. "We had a great year this year and now the question is can we
sustain it," said Coach Schmidt. The university extended Schmidt’s contract and St. Bonaventure
basketball fans hope that the team can carry this momentum.
In other Bonaventure news the Bonnies memorabilia book has
been selling quickly. We contacted the university bookstore and they told us
that in 2 hours from the time they opened at 9 till we called at 11 they had
sold about 25 books, and hope to sell many more.
