State Police in Coudersport say there are assisting Coudersport Police in the search for 18 year old Andrew Schuyler Jeffers who escaped from the Potter County Jail Tuesday afternoon. Police say Jeffers was last spotted wearing a yellow prison uniform and heading north through the woods near the Coudersport Consistory. He is described as a white make, approx. 5'7" tall, 140 pounds. Black hair, brown eyes and a light brown beard. Anyone spotting Jeffers should call police or 911 immediately.
NEW UPDATE:
Coudersport Borough Police say that 18 year old Andrew Schuyler Jeffers, who escaped from Potter County Jail yesterday is now in custody. Jeffers was found in Ulysses this morning around 10:40 a.m.
