Wellsville Police Activity

Village police arrested David Pusey Jr, 33, of Whitesville following a pursuit through three townships involving the Wellsville Police Department, New York State Police, Allegany County Sheriff’s Office, Alfred State University Police, Independence Police Department and the Andover Police Department.  Pusey was charged with 3 counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 5^th, criminal possession of a controlled substance 3^rd, criminal possession of marihuana 5^th, aggravated unlicensed operation 2^nd, unlawfully fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle 3^rd, failure to comply, reckless driving, operating out of class, speed not reasonable and prudent, uninspected motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle with more than one earphone.  Pusey was processed and arraigned in the Village of Wellsville court where he was remanded to the Allegany County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bail to return at a later date.
