Despite declaring his candidacy six weeks after his opposition, Democrat Nate Shinagawa has sustained his positive momentum with a strong fundraising report in the race for New York’s 23rd congressional district. His campaign is reporting revenue of over $113,000 and $95,000 cash on hand. Shinagawa supporters say he has firmly established himself as the top challenger to Rep. Tom Reed.
