Police arrest man after car chase

What started out as a simple traffic infraction ended with far more serious charges leveled against a Salamanca man. It started Tuesday morning on Franklin Street in Salamanca when Deputies attempted to pull over 39-year old Gregory Huffman for allegedly driving through a red light. Then the chase was on as police say the man sped away. He was stopped a short time later. Now he faces a dozen charges to include felony drunken driving, driving on a side walk, reckless endangerment and more. Huffman was arraigned in court and held on $2,000 bail before returning to court yesterday.
