Two house fires in Olean Monday. The first, at 116 East Oak Street, caused significant damage. Officials believe the blaze began in the attic or roof area. No injuries were reported.
Meanwhile, about 10pm last night, Olean firefighters battled a house fire on River Street…Significant damage was reported. Shortly before 7am, a fire crew returned to the River Street scene to evaluate potential hot spots. No injuries were reported.
