The fire that hit machinery at a gravel pit off route 19 north of Wellsville Tuesday caused more than $100,000 in damage. Allegany County legislator and business owner Kevin LaForge said a wood grinder caught fire…the machine was destroyed. Investigators have ruled the fire accidental. Fire crews from six towns responded to the blaze.
