A showdown is brewing in Allegany County. Lawmakers yesterday voted to reject a state mandated pay raise for District Attorney Keith Slep. Now Slep says he’ll sue the county for violating state law. A similar show down occurred in 1982. The county lost that lawsuit. Slep called the legislators actions stupid and idiotic.
