Construction Starting on Route 219

Work is starting today on the Route 219 bridge in Lafayette Township in McKean County.  According to PennDOT There will not be lane restrictions on Route 219 as construction starts tomorrow because the road is so wide at that point. However there could be a slow down in traffic with construction crews set up in that area. The bridge spans Kinzua Creek at Tally Ho, about two miles south of the Route 59 intersection. The expansion dam work should be complete in early August.
