Following a traffic stop in the Riverwalk Plaza, village police arrested Casy L Gates, 25, of Swain charging him with Driving While Intoxicated, Driving with a BAC of >.08 % and inadequate exhaust. Gates was processed and released to a third party to appear in village court at a later date.

Village police responded for a reported one car motor vehicle accident on Chamberlain Street. Upon arrival police found an unoccupied vehicle had struck a utility pole. An area search for the driver was conducted however was unsuccessful. Later Michael R Plaisted, 31, of Wellsville turned himself in at the police department and admitted to being said driver. He was issued tickets for unsafe lane change, speed not reasonable and prudent and leaving the scene of a property damage auto accident. He is due in village court at a later date.

Following a traffic stop on Fassett Lane, village police arrested Raymond G Gilliland, 32, of Bolivar charging him with Driving while intoxicate, driving with a BAC of .08% or greater and failure to use designated lane. He was processed and released to a third party to appear in village court at a later date.

Acting on a bench warrant from the City of Olean court, village police arrested Tana L Acampora, 48, of Wellsville for failure to appear. She was processed and turned over to the City of Olean Police Department for further action.
