Wellsville: Man wasn't really a doctor

A former doctor at Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville and Nicholas H. Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville has been arrested because authorities say he's not a doctor at all.
51-year-old Fitzgerald Anthony Hudson of Michigan worked at the two hospitals between 2008 and 2010 after obtaining a New York State medical license in 2007. Prosecutors say Hudson falsified his application for the license, saying he graduated from a college in Canada when he had not.
While working at the two hospitals, Hudson was reimbursed around $200,000 by Medicare for patient care that he was not entitled to. He was arrested Thursday, charged with health care fraud, and faces a maximum sentence of 10 years behind bars.
