NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. - The St. Bonaventure women's lacrosse team (1-0) scored four unanswered goals to break a 6-all tie en route to a 15-11 victory over Niagara (0-3) in head coach Ryan Lynn's debut.

After the Purple Eagles erased a 4-1 Bona lead to knot the score at six, the Bonnies responded with four goals to earn the win. Danielle Drabin scored four goals and Cara Callahan three to help head coach Ryan Lynn become the first Bona coach in Division I program history to claim a victory in his first game.

Callahan and Drabin netted three of the Bonnies' first four goals, pacing SBU to leads of 2-0 and 4-1 before Niagara answered to tie. Four different players notched two goals for the Purple Eagles, with Savannah Pearce adding an assist for a team-high three points.

Amanda Cizenski tallied the eventual game-winner, sparking a rally that spanned 3:29 and turned the tide for good.

Sara Schlagenhauf made a career-high 11 saves to preserve the win in the cage.

The Bonnies return to action on Sunday at Detroit Mercy.
