Outstanding Trooper Award presented in Troop A

Lieutenant Kevin M. Barnas, Acting Zone Two Commander, Troop “A” announces the recipient of the 2011 Outstanding Trooper Award. A ceremony was held at Troop “A” Headquarters on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 where members were presented with awards for their performance during 2011:
TROOPER CHAD BARRY - Trooper Barry has been a member of the Division for approximately 11 years and he is presently assigned to SP Elma. He has received the Zone 2 Outstanding Trooper Award for five consecutive years because of his consistently distinguished performance in all aspects of his job. Trooper Barry serves as a Field Training Officer, a Patrol Rifleman, and a Crime Scene Technician. He is a member of the Mobile Field Unit and he is routinely assigned to the City of Buffalo Operation Impact Detail. Trooper Barry’s exemplary enforcement efforts and his varied contributions to the Division in an array of specialized assignments make him a deserving candidate for this award.
