NY state to public authorities: Show us your financial records, or else

The entities that manage water, parking and even farmer’s markets on behalf of cities, counties and New York state are required by law to turn their financial records over to the state every year. When they ignore the law, an agency called the state Authorities Budget Office tries to embarrass them into action.
The ABO recently published a list of public authorities  that missed their deadlines.
On the list locally…the Olean Local Development Corporation and the Allegany County Capital Resource Corporation. To view the complete list, Click here.
