A Mount Jewett man will be sentenced later this month after he admitted to a sexual relationship with a 13-year old girl. 22-year old Roger Crate II pleaded guilty in court Thursday to statutory sexual assault. The two-year relationship was uncoveredd by the girls mother when she discovered graphic messages and oictures on a cell phone. Court records reveal Crate had sexual intercourse with the girl one or two times a day. Records also show that Crate attempted to destroy evidence of the pictures by setting his phone on fire. He’ll be sentenced March 22nd.
