McKean County: Impact Fee expected to be formally adopted today

In McKean County…Commissioners this morning are expected to give final approval to the Marcellus Shale Impact Fee. The three Commissioners have already endorsed the idea…but this morning they are expected to give final approval to the impact fee. And by doing so…a substantial amount of money is expected to eventually flow in to the county. According to published reports, Commissioner Joe DeMott has said the fee will generate a significant amount of money for the county, townships and boroughs in McKean Counties. Neighboring counties have also endorsed the fee plan.
