Fredonia Man Killed in One Car Vehicle Rollover Accident

A Chautauqua County man lost his life following a one car rollover accident late Wednesday night according to State Police in Fredonia. Riqueno Santiago,59, of Fredonia, was traveling south on Chautauqua road in the Town of Pomfret when for unknown reasons he veered off the east shoulder hitting a culvert causing his vehicle to overturn and come to rest in a ditch. County Coroner Richard Mackowiak pronounced Santiago dead at the scene. Fredonia Fire Department responded to scene. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
