Alleged drug use locks down Emporium school

Two students are facing charges of possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident that resulted in the lockdown of Cameron County High School in Emporium Friday. School officials found the two female juveniles allegedly using illegal drugs in the restroom at the high school. Police said the school was placed on lockdown while officers along with a K-9 unit conducted a search, resulting in more alleged drug paraphernalia being found on students and inside lockers. Charges were filed with the Cameron County Juvenile Authority pending further action.
