Allegany man arrested on alleged pot possession

An Allegany man faces charges from both Olean police and sheriff’s deputies.  Police were alerted to a possible theft from Country Fair on Wayne Street in Olean. Deputies spotted the suspect vehicle on Five Mile Road. They stopped the car…and after a few moments, charged him with unlawful possession of marihuana. He was then handed off to Olean police on the alleged larceny complaint.
