A public forum tonight…to discuss the Olean City School District. The District is grappling with a $3+ Million budget deficit. School Board members and administrators will be on hand to answer questions and provide on update on the district’s finances. The two hour session begins at 6:30pm and will be held in the high school cafeteria. The Board of Education plans to vote next week on how to manage the budget issue.
The possible closing of 2 or all elementary building,outsourcing jobs,taxes,a new multimillion dollar capitol project,class sizes,future of students learning and ideas on how to raise revenue will be some of the discussions. Come and express your opinions.
