Olean School Board meets tonight to address budget gap

It’s been talked about in coffee shops and at the kitchen table…the financial crisis facing the Olean school district. It may come to a head tonight when the school board meets in special session. The Board will be presented with options..which include closing at least two buildings…moving toward a single campus…as well as staffing of program cuts. One thing nearly everyone can agree on….something needs to change…and soon. The school board will meet at 7:30 in the high school auditorium. Get there early….it’s likely to be a full house.
