Cuba-Rushford school battles budget gap

The Cuba-Rushford school district is facing some tough choices…like close the Rushford campus or lose most extra-curricular programs and more. The district is facing a punishing budget gap ($2.6 million).  Parents aren’t thrilled with the options. County legislator and local attorney David Pullen says the school board hasn’t communicated well with residents….he even suggested the financial mess showed a “serious management problem.” The Board agreed to hold a public budget work session next Tuesday to explore more options.
